June 20, 2007My loss=Your gain. Or quite possibly the other way around. There’s nothing more entertaining than sitting in the back of the classroom during a math lesson, and observing every individual person’s behaviour. This coming from a person who has the nervous habits of a potentially insane teenager and the immediate manners of a deranged exchange student; fresh from France. The things people do out of sheer boredom, very quickly, become my entertainment for the time being. No one really gets anything out of pointless classes filled with numbers spanning past 6 digits and words that have no real meaning to anyone but mathematicians and quite possibly, neat freaks. Watching someones reaction to something as simple as a homework assignment can be equally as hilarious as watching Dave Chapelle attempt to spell a name exceeding a maximum of 8 letters. Someone else’s current discomfort is my fuel. Then again, I’m not always the one in the back of the class. I’m also not always the most stable person in the class, either. Just usually. -Xo

June 9, 2007Put Your Hands In The AirBut don't get the wrong idea, we're gonna shoot you, we're gonna shoot you And there's nothing in your head or pocket, throat or wallet That can change how this goes, No, we're gonna shoot you, We're gonna shoot you. So, I haven't written a journal entry since Honda Civic, so I thought I'd write on today. During Health yesterday, when I was only half paying attention, my teacher asked us to write what our definition of beauty. A couple people simply said names of people, and some genius actually looked it up in the dictionary. Last night there was a short thunderstorm. There was thunder, there was lightning, it was pouring hard. The rain stopped around five o'clock, and the sun eventually came back out. I went upstairs, went into my bedroom and locked the door. I opened the small window and climbed onto the roof below. I like to go there to think sometimes. It's kinda peacful, and I know that no one can bother me. Well, unless they bring a ladder. But anyway, The sun came out through the clouds and turned the sky a pale orange for a few minutes before it set. Now that's beauty. -Xo
